I mostly write and sing thought provoking songs of a spiritual nature. I also write songs of ecological and political protest as well as traditional folk songs.
Jagged are the steps to my future
Twisted through the darkness of the night
Farther than the sight which strives to lure me
Into the canyon walled with fright
Let me into your arms to rest a moment
I’m a frenzied mess of motion on the run
Give me shelter from this time of torment
Before I once again must pick me up and try to find the sun
A stony feeling enters me when you look into my face
A flock of angels tug my soul but the world holds me in place
Part of me stands by you long after you’ve gone away
Aching with the thoughts of what I really meant to say
Love me as I wish that I could love you
I want to see my image in your eyes
Take a look at what’s there behind me
So I can see what makes me run and hide
