Lyrics
Johnny Bennett – Gone Missing Written by: Johnny Bennett, Chris Julian You’re like a phantom keeping just out of sight You’re banging down the walls of someone else’s life Run away screaming in the night Ain’t nobody listening All the young things showing me what I like Give me the hips and groove I want to get it all right See how they come and go And I could go there again There ain’t no use resisting Show me that you’re pretty And you know it Clap your hands Miss Understanding Wants a spotlight in the band So when’s a working girl like you get off You’re long, long gone With every color spinning You’re gone too long But it’s all right Long, long gone But it’s not goodbye you’re kissing When the lights come on It’s just everyone’s gone missing Hiding like a child And they ain’t found you yet You want to love someone You ain’t even met Don’t want to break you like a wrecking machine But it looks like you’re insisting Show me that you’re pretty And you know it Clap your hands Miss Understanding Wants a spotlight in the band So when’s a working girl like you get off You’re long, long gone With every color spinning You’re gone too long But it’s all right Long, long gone But it’s not goodbye you’re kissing When the lights come on It’s just everyone’s gone missing All the mod cons They’re all over the shop You go round and round and round It don’t stop honey You hold hands with the one on the scene Cause everyone’s gone missing You’re long, long gone With every color spinning You’re gone too long But it’s all right Long, long gone But it’s not goodbye you’re kissing When the lights come on It’s just everyone’s gone missing
