John Garrett and Jeff Brown have been composing music together since they attended high school. They have a huge backlog of material and have written songs in many different styles.
It doesn't get older than this one. This is one of the very early songs that John and I wrote. This one is about 29 years old! We had very little in the way of recording equipment. Back then we used two old 10 inch reel to reel recorders and bounced back and fourth between them playing more parts on each playback. Two vocals from John, 1 acoustic guitar and 2 electric guitars from me, 2 keyboards from John and the wonderful casio drums. Very noisy, but I still love the sound of this one, drenched in reverb from running everything through a very old Peavy 8 channel mixing board with the reverb up pretty much all the way.
