Story behind the song
... and the MACABRE by HP Lovecraft
Back in the early/mid 90s I became engrossed by the stories of HP Lovecraft. the book BCToHatM was the first collection i read by him.
My grasp on reality started to break down after a while. and was... inspired... maybe more "induced" to create these sound-scapes
All of these "songs" were first takes. i would record 1 track directly from my amp, Gallien Kruegger 250ml into a 4-track tape recorder. then rewind the tape. plug in a set of headphones to the recorder, then play the second track.
