Story behind the song
We need it. Gotta have it. Yet so many lives messed up because of addiction to money (and power). The cost of financial freedom, is often slavery that we impose on ourselves.

Why do we talk of love. Where do we find ourselves
When did money destroy our minds
When did banks remove our souls.
Freedom was the word of laws
Freedom of might over ignorant toys
We are all the slaves of our homemade gods
We feed them power to run our lives
We sell them forty hours, sixty hours,
seventy hours or more
For more money to feed more power, for more money

And the machines we teach to think
Without fear or hate, no pride, no love, no lust, no joy,
