Story behind the song
With a big chuckle I laughed when the Lord gave me this song. God does have a wonderful sense of humor. I have always been obsessive-compulsive, highly driven, and always extreme. What I never knew is that the Lord gave me those qualities knowing he would use them for His glory one day. Once He captured my heart, there was no turning back. Lukewarm was not an option. Rev. 3:16 “So, because you are lukewarm–neither hot nor cold–I am about to spit you out of my mouth.” For His sacrifice I committed to give Him my whole heart, desiring to be like those I admire in the Word of God…Moses, Isaiah, Noah, and that zealous Paul of course!
