Story behind the song

I have been blessed with meeting so many great singer songwriters and they often inspire me in my work. Since the title "Troubadour" has been recorded more than once I decided to go the overkill rout. BTW: For those who are not familiar with Gilbert Donovan's work I suggest you do a You Tube search and view his duet with Willie Nelson... You'll love it!
