I woke up bad this morning
From then on I should have known
But that's the kind of day it was
So I sit here and groan
The alarm on time this morning
It rang right through my head
And 40 minutes later
I wasn't out of bed
I showered dressed and combed my hair
As fast as I could move
In record time I left the house
If only then I knew
At work in the morning meeting
Things started to get hot
I tried my best to keep my cool
But somehow I could not
When the day goes wrong
It's a sorry song
The opposite of holiday
Then the day wears on
And you don't feel strong
