David Saucier is a 23 year old male, striving to get out there with his musician skills. David was born and raised in Beaver Bank, N.S. until he was 10 years old and then moved to Lower Sackville until he was 22. He then moved to Truro on his own and tried to take Business Administration at NSCC. He then had to leave the course because he needed to work and make money to have a roof over his head; it was school with no roof over his head or no school with a roof over his head (this was a hard decision to make but he did it). After a long journey of striving to complete school David graduated with his grade 12 from Sackville High School in 2007 (took 5 years to get the credits in high school but he did it!). David was inspired by the Backstreet boys when he was 10 which gave him ideas for poetry which sooner then later evolved to lyrics. At age 13 he started raping. David's stage name started at 16 as Brain Child and then changed to Da-Vito at age 20. He changed it because he liked it a lot better and because Da-Vito stands for vision, inspiration, truth, and outstanding which was something that represented himself. When he was 18 he then got involved with doing open mics in the community. He loved to perform and entertain, he knew it was a great way to get his music heard by other people. At age 20 he performed a song he had wrote for our Canadian Veterans and performed this song infront of 1000+ people at his high school with his good friend Eric Lecourse AKA 'Gweedy'. This was done infront of Canadian Veterans as well as NDP- Peter Stoffer. David has very high respect for the Veterans. He respects them so much that he got a tattoo across his stomach that reads 'LEST WE FORGET'. The Veterans mean so much to him because he had a family member that was in the second world war and is very thankful for all of them for what they have done for us. Without them who knows where we would be today. David is a very respectful person to people he has no reason not to be respectful to. He is a very outgoing person and lives his life to the fullest. He has a HUGE sense of humor and isn't someone that gives up easy. If he really wants something, he will strive to get things done. David is a person that does not care what people think about him or what he does. He will do anything he wants where he wants whether he looks stupid doing it or not. He wants to own a few of his own businesses and carry out with his music career, and will reach to his potential while doing it.
