Story behind the song
hard edged prophetic tune written in 1988 forecasting the decapitating violence on the border....the original version i still have on cassette of just me and piano, recorded in 1988-89 thereabouts in Tallahassee Florida.... I just got this whole vision of an impending problem on the border and by violent gangs who would be having "heads all rolling around" . . . . Look out "Christian right" if the rest of the song continues to come true..... Of course, none of this is anything I would wish, but happened to see in a vision . . . .

Living in a border state, I can personally say that this song is spot on so far, predicting drug wars and violence of border. Indeed, many victims do have their heads cut off and left elsewhere to be found, sometimes. I don't want the rest of the vision of this song to come true, but with your accuracy of visions, and the impending racial hostility I feel here, I fear it will all come true.
