Story behind the song
It's basically a follow-up to Mullorahm. I used the intro chords from the original as the prechorus/chorus chords and everything else is new and built around that. A lot faster and heavier. I had been working on this song on and off for several months before the band actually finalized it.
Lyrics
hear you've crossed the line the broken silence sparkles like the stars above so gently lay me down to sleep the broken heart finds solace in the poison tree [prechorus] and i bleed myself to see myself inside myself and i keep myself to see myself inside myself [chorus] cause i want you to know(repeated a couple times) the headlights in my eyes you see refracting all the images of my bent conscience a truer daybreak left to me my unintended wrath has left and i am free though i bleed myself to see myself inside myself and i keep myself to see myself inside myself cause i want you to know i want you to know i want you to know yeah, yeah, yeah
