A wonderful blend of smooth jazz, funk, dance and world music centralized through the piano, acoustic guitar and the occasional synth lead..
ALL of the compositions you hear here start with one simple truth - without God, I could do nothing but because of HIM, all this is possible! Each and every effort is a serenade to Him, as I owe Him every song. Over the years, I've learned new things about song composition and have always been willing to push the boundaries of sound. I was trained as a musician and recording engineer as a child, learning to put together melodies when I was only 7 years old. This was at the height of jazz fusion where lead instrumental improvisation was king. Although I was trained early on to read and write sheet music, this improvisation has shaped my writing. Now, I write from my heart. The songs represented here are the culmination of my ventures. Each new song is a lesson in itself as I am a never ending student of music, sound and the new and emerging recording processes. As you listen, keep in mind these are my intimate conversations with God. My conversations are sometimes upbeat, sometimes somber, but never boring. In all, I share these songs so that you may enjoy the music.

Story behind the song
This song is a hodge podge of multiple genres. Dance groove, world voices and a jazzy, but classical piano underlying the foundation.

The intro is out of this world! I've never got the chills of an intro before. But that was before i listen to this. And the main theme is beatyful. Makes you thoughts fly away. And the piece touches you. Great work!

Music for the world. Repetitive, with enough to keep it moving forward. Lovely.

Love the bass line, solid and serious. Keys great as usual, but here they really make the track. Creates relaxing mood as prescribed, classic sound... mix is top notch, got me soaring!

Your distinctive style of creative compositions continues to blow me away. Masterful talent at arrangements and movements. Love the groove in this track. It rides the slip stream with greatist of ease. Smooth very smooth. Another gem from Mr Grant...Cheers

Yeah great bass line. I am pretty weak at basslines myself. I LOVE the sound of the drums in this one. Sounds really good and full on the monitors I am listening on. I actuallyl ike this song more than the one I just heard with the guitar. It seems to have more movement while that last one seemed a little "flat" in comparison. You know I drool over your mixing so I am going to stop mentioning how great that is for now on. I don't want you getting a big head lol, just kidding. Yeah but as for the song, lovely, laid back but still with a lot going on and everything also works together a little better on this one than the one with guitar as well. I do like the guitar song of course but I just prefer this one.

The vox choir, electric keyboard, and bass line give this a nice, old-school jazz flava. Love the piano rifts... they move along a wonderfully painted sky. This song definitely makes you feel like you can fly.
