Yesterday's Addiction- Mike Mitchell- Guitars, Jim Tamburini- Drums, Jeff Moore- Vocals; Special thanks to Jon Cimino for contributing bass tracks
Guitar driven, hook laden, rock music. Wide variety of influences, but late 1980's and early 1990's are the most evident.
Yesterday's Addiction is a Central PA and Las Vegas, NV based group of 3 musicians who write and record guitar driven rock music. Mike Mitchell- Guitars/Bass, Jim Tamburini- Drums (his real name, believe it or not), and Jeff Moore- Vocals. Influences are varied, but we came of age in the peak of the 80's hair metal era, so there are definitely elements of this era in our music. Bottom line is that we write and record music that is filtered through the prism that is Yesterday's Addiction.

Story behind the song
Mike wrote the music, and before we had lyrics we referred to the song as "A min", which is the relative minor to C maj. So, we began calling the song "Relative". Jim wrote some lyrics that I thought were great, so with a few minor "singer" additions and edits, this song was born. It was really inspired by the notion that sometimes bad things happen that end up being blessings.
Lyrics
Someones pain, someones pleasure- you find sorrow in your treasure. A live well lived, who can measure? It's carried away by the wind like a feather. A new beginning, a familiar end. Time goes by like grains of sand. To tell the tale, the truth to bend- a stranger to me my dearest friend. Pre Chorus: The weight of the world on my shoulder but I won't go down... Chorus: In the dark I find the sun, and in losing you I've won. You can't take what you can't give- it's all Relative. White noise, distracting me. My foolish heart with every beat. Your open eyes, they still can't see- what forever was will never be. Pre Chorus, Chorus Outro Chorus: When the end has just begun, to tomorrow I will run. And in dying I will live- It's all Relative
