Yesterday's Addiction is a Central PA and Las Vegas, NV based group of 3 musicians who write and record guitar driven rock music. Mike Mitchell- Guitars/Bass, Jim Tamburini- Drums (his real name, believe it or not), and Jeff Moore- Vocals. Influences are varied, but we came of age in the peak of the 80's hair metal era, so there are definitely elements of this era in our music. Bottom line is that we write and record music that is filtered through the prism that is Yesterday's Addiction.Have you performed in front of an audience?We, as a group, played live for several years as "Felon" in the late '80s and early '90s throughout the state of Pennsylvania. It was an amazing time for all of us. Mike Mitchell is the only one of us who still actively plays live, the name of his latest project will be updated soon for anyone interested.
Your musical influences
Everything that has passed our ears has played some role in what comes out through the creative process. There are pieces of everything from the Beatles to todays music that led us to where we are.What equipment do you use?
Tama Drums, Gibson guitars, Marshall amps, and EV microphones. We record using an Alesis interface into Steinberg Cubase, and the primary platform for mastering is Izotope Ozone- a GREAT plug-in.Anything else?
