It Don't Really Matter To Me, LIVE
Comment Share
A LIVE version, with the "exotic" intro and an extended middle guitar part, where Mr. Mato pays tribute to Mr. Townshend.

A classic power-trio configuration. Some material is live, some studio. Crank it up and enjoy!
Iron Will was Jim Mato, guitar and vocal, and Carmine Fergo, drums and percussion. Jimmy Condoluci originally played bass. Material was primarily written by Mato and arranged by Fergo. The original band existed from 1979 to 1983. Mato & Fergo continued together on and off 'til 2004, in different projects. A 2002 MkII version of Iron Will (though never named as a band) featured Ben Sandoval on Bass. See Band History below.

Story behind the song
Whew!! This has the Middle-Eastern-flavored intro that surprised audiences when we'd announce the song, and they heard this... I used electronic & acoustic drums on this (REAL cymbals, of course;) and also attempted the keyboard part (once, semi-successfully) in the song chorus, (keyboard was placed next to/under the highhat.) -C.F. Jim Mato shows some of his Pete Townshend influence in the middle part. There's also the "musical telepathy" that can and should happen when separate musicians become A Band. Hope you've got the time, 'cause this one's about eleven minutes. It's worth it.
