I'm writing/rapping the Dumpster Manifesto -- reality from a different perspective.
DJ Tansey -- Rap Entrepreneur AIM: djtansey I have been interested in Hip-Hop since 1995. My first album was Tupac Shakur's Me Against The World. I was only 11, but his music still managed to reach me. I miss rap with a message. It seems everyone is a megalomaniac. So I'm doing my own thing. Hopefully people will give a sh*t.

i don't brew the stew of my own misery though i now ask why the world did this to me suffering's a way of life one i won't choose to follow giving up my power an idea i can't swallow i'm taking control my misery is mine though it's narcissistic i won't worship it's shrine i have my leaders to follow some living, some dead i have a story to tell and a message to spread i didn't know reality my life was too good few evils could catch me pain not properly understood but now i get it forgive my errors i now understand it a life lived in terror so we can fight together break free from these chains fight everyday leave our lives rearranged i know we can do it take hold of the reins the ride is rough only one question remains chorus: { why do we live? why do we fight so hard? why do we keep on going? when can we break these bars? why do we try again? why do we reach for the stars? why do we smile with pride when we display these scars? } i can ask the questions but i have no answers why do we live? i just can't tell ya i know i love it that's all that matters even today after being bruised and battered i live the good life still have courage to fight the search for the truth a fire i know i will ignite! my lyrics are poetry my release from reality they are also my plea and my source of vitality i am a strong man in more ways than one i know who i am and that my growth is never done some say we learned to live before we learned to think this atrocious mentality leaves us at the brink but it neglects the link with life's seduction outweighs most thoughts of our own destruction i don't understand it but i know i love life and because of that love i am above strife chorus: { why do we live? why do we fight so hard? why do we keep on going? when can we break these bars? why do we try again? why do we reach for the stars? why do we smile with pride when we display these scars? } i have lived through hell seen all there is to see why do we live? because it keeps us free all there is to be doesn't get much better life is tricky wish i could live forever i know what i control i know what i can not and i know it's hard to listen when it's time to be taught the first thought of the day something dead men envy regreting each minute they lived when they weren't friendly when you die your money stays behind ya all the time you wasted in death, an awful reminder of what you could have had if you'd lived life gladly and on your death bed you won't leave the world sadly if you've lived as you should and lived as you could instead of sqeaking by before life was understood so take some time ponder the world you're making when you leave this accomplishment is all you'll be taking chorus: { why do we live? why do we fight so hard? why do we keep on going? when can we break these bars? why do we try again? why do we reach for the stars? why do we smile with pride when we display these scars? }
