Story behind the song
A song written over time about two friends, each going through divorce.
Lyrics
I know you've been going away Blank cloud covering your face I know you've been yearning today For the other one and I'm losing ground The stars scream quiet at night I've stopped waiting for the morning light Funny how I end up alone Living in an empty home Tow me out to storm, what you gonna do Gonna hack at the line to keep me from you Bring me out to harm, what you gonna do Gonna break my mind I had so many visions I had so many dreams You had said you needed a change Some sweet longing you could not name We didn't know what you would find The children call your name at night Grey immense waves; stone hurling through

I really love this track, Donna! Seems like it was a live take with some post production? In any case, the vocal is powerful! You can sing! And haven't we all had so many visions? Yes--so, a powerful song, beautifully performed! You should come by the forums more often--saw your comment & followed it to here...as will others. Cheers from frozen Maine! MH
