I do, on a sitting-in basis presently which is just where I should be. This includes drummming w/ The Swamp Kings and High Mass w/ the choir.

What have I especially listened to?
Three Dog Night, Motown, 70's Classical Rock (Yes, ELP, Heart, The Who), Joan Armatrading, Debussey, 80's pop, Laura Nyro, Southern Rock, old Chicago...and many indie artists of usually pop-forms genres.
But I don't think I sound anything like them.

Thanks for your note - yes, exactly correct you are, live me tracks then Dan added keys. I'll listen to ya when able + get back to the forums.
We got lucky that day, guitar/vox track, then bam bam bam the other vocal tracks all in a row. I was w/ 3 (experienced) guitarists at that session, expecting to play drums! Then (ulp) it was said, naw you know the song best, play guitar...
I really love this track, Donna! Seems like it was a live take with some post production? In any case, the vocal is powerful! You can sing! And haven't we all had so many visions? Yes--so, a powerful song, beautifully performed!
You should come by the forums more often--saw your comment & followed it to here...as will others.
