To dance like a snake and taste the embrace of a dozen ghosts wearing petticoats.
Time is the effect of our ignorance. In the countryside, everyone is famous for fifteen miles. Optimism is the philosophy of despair. An artificial artichoke artisticly askew is sitting on a submarine surveying Sunday stew.

Story behind the song
While sea levels rise, the south of England is gradually sinking lower in response to the ice on top of Scotland melting at the end of the last ice age. The weight of the ice was pushing Scotland down and pushing southern England up like a see saw. Scotland is still rising and southern England still sinking in response to the removal of the ice (or so I was told). "I've never met somebody as noble as you" refers to a Budhist called Caroline who I met on the side of Ham Hill.
