Story behind the song
Just having some fun. The clean rhythm part is another thing I used to fool around with when playing my acoustic at the park. The name of the park is actually Moore Park, but because it neighbours Pleasant Elementary School, which some of my friends used to attend, we refer to it by the school's name. During the summer holidays, when I was younger, I used to spend all day there listening to music, reading books, playing my guitar, hanging with friends, playing scoccer, football, frisbee, hackey sack.... Under the cover of darkness it was a cool place to not be bothered at night, too. ;) I had an earlier version of this posted here, but a while ago John emailed me and asked to re-do the bass part. I got my buddy Steve to throw in a little of his lead guitar work (1:38-2:22). I think this new version sounds a lot better than before. They both have SoundClick pages! Lyrics
No lyrics, although when I would jam in the park a passer-by would start scatting words to the music. One time a guy had a really good groove and vocal line going, but I can't remember how it went. IF someone wants to add vocals, send me an isolated vocal track and I'll work it in.
