Lets Have a Group Again

Keyboard-orchestrated progressive-rock/pop song about getting a group back together again.
PANARCHY is the vehicle for performing the more progressive rock songs written by Scott Gordon. The band was started by Scott Gordon (keyboards/vocals/guitars)
Welcome to PANARCHY - proof positive that the craft of songwriting - intelligent, poignant lyrics, and innovative but sonorous harmony of voices and instruments - is not dead. PANARCHY is for me what UTOPIA was for Todd Rundgren. A real band for the band, in-between my own acoustic solo performing and recording.

Story behind the song
I was missing my band - and my fault - I was so busy. I wrote about the usual reasons groups wind up dispersing and about how we'd always want to get back to it again. Inspired by the Kansas hit "People of the South Wind", it has a similar feel and message.
Lyrics
LET'S HAVE A GROUP AGAIN September 1996 - Dallas TX Let's Have a Group Again - Do you remember when we were friends? Before those bad things were spread and it was said that we were reaching the end We could be reaching out - And getting more of what it's about But we've got to rewind - And go find what put those fires all out Let's Have a Group Again Do you remember when we were friends? Don't be the lonely one - Don't be an "only one" - Let's Have a Group Again! Well they finished us with a lie - And said that we should not even try But your friends are here waiting - And we're going to get together and fly! Let's Have a Group Again Come over and see your friends Don't be the lonely one - Don't be an "only one" - Let's Have a Group Again! Let's Have a Group Again - 1996 - Scott Gordon
