DJ Tansey -- Rap Entrepreneur AIM: djtansey I have been interested in Hip-Hop since 1995. My first album was Tupac Shakur's Me Against The World. I was only 11, but his music still managed to reach me. I miss rap with a message. It seems everyone is a megalomaniac. So I'm doing my own thing. Hopefully people will give a sh*t.

some people want to live their lives for number one but i find their identities sadly never done i tell them life is supposed to be fun weren't supposed to live this way with our humanity shunned i know how you feel i've felt helpless too but keep on going we'll stick it through i'm here by your side number two feel free to dream we'll make it true some think my life is unfulfilled cause i live for you but this is the 21st century what else might i do? many in power only think of their lives what they'll see happen your education their lies the old rules, largely, no longer apply so i'm thinking up new ones so i can at least say i tried now it's time to think, our next incarnation however you think of it,think of the world that you're making chorus: { we have more power than you can even imagine once we see it's to survive no limit to what can happen i want to say i tried so i'm doing my part and when we succeed it'll be because of our hearts } some people in power probably wish i'd shut up and if they don't now they will because i'll never give up some people say stop trying but i refuse to be a lier 60 years and i'll be dying until then i'll never tire life is too beautiful to be neglected when a bee seeks it's taste it leaves a thousand buds tested like a fish out of water knowing its life is precious fighting for survival knowing it's all too blessed if you observe this see it's a joy just to live just to breath is bliss and the greatest joy to give why should we create our own destruction in such a beautiful world i dream of hate's reduction and our hearts turn to gold to me it's a reality not yet realized as i dream at night i see no one's teary eyed that heaven on earth we've for millennium sought it's not so hard to get if we as humanity fought chorus: { we have more power than you can even imagine once we see it's to survive no limit to what can happen i want to say i tried so i do my part and when we succeed it'll be because of our hearts } i know it's hard to work together when we want different things but if we seek commonality find what unity brings there are great people in the world some to admire but don't hold them at a distance to be great you must aspire everyone's human don't list other's faults how to work around this what we ought to be taught i don't promise many things but i promise you this dedicate yourself to helping and you'll get to feel more bliss living is wonderful i don't know how else to explain it don't let humanity crumble instead learn how to sustain it problems abound but each has a solution manage our capacity to find answers is what we should be doing it's not so easy not as easy as greed but keep the ideals to have our future set free my life in this body's limited but words can last forever so if you hear this in a century you too can make it better chorus: { we have more power than you can even imagine once we see it's to survive no limit to what can happen i want to say i tried so i'm doing my part and when we succeed it'll be because of our hearts }
