Harper Blue is a Lorain area Pagan Rock and Blues. For live shows our material primarily consists of classic rock and oldies covers, but we perform a very wide range of material. Our originals very from melodic Pagan Rock (spiritually based music based on the Pagan faith and beliefs) to basic blues and all are written by either Katy Markus-Walczak or James "Tim" Walczak.

Story behind the song
During a rather frustrating day at the company she used to work for, Katy took her lunch break out in her car in the parking lot. As she sat there mulling over the tribulations of the afternoon she saw that they were cutting down trees in a nice wooded area next to the parking lot. Call us "tree huggers" if you must but what's the point of tearing down more of nature when there's plenty of other areas that need to be refurbished first.
