Welcome! I am a singer/songwriter of different styles of Christian and Country Music....Enjoy the message I bring, and may your heart be ministered to.
Hello! I'm very glad you stopped in to listen and visit. :) The message I carry is simply this...Jesus loves you and I do too. Hope you enjoy what you hear, and get a blessing from the music, as God does not give His people gifts to just set them upon the shelf, and never be used. I'm only as good as the Lord helps me to be, and I'm thankful for the blessings He has bestowed upon me. I'm NOT perfect, never claimed to be; but on the other hand, I have a message to minister in song, and I do that to the best of my ability. I fully realize there are many songs I demo here that don't fit my style/voice, but I can't run out and get a singer that fits everytime I write a song. :) What I write or cover comes from the heart. I've endured many hard trials in my life, and each one has, in one way or the other made its way into a song that others can relate to. All of my songs except for noted exceptions are free downloads. I'm not a professional by any means, nor am I interested in becoming one; and so the music is given away just as freely as the message was given to me. Story behind the song
This is a song I've written and recorded before...it is based on a passage in Psalms that talks about receiving so many blessings you cannot contain them. I've seen that many times in my life, and wrote about it. I've been learning about soft synths and such in Sonar, and the sounds are really good..so, I thought this would be a perfect song to try something with...it had been done with piano and upper/lower strings and an English Horn, on the keyboard I had before. I did the same, pretty much, except the sound is updated..and the English Horn is there; but because it was NOT in my list of instruments in the Dimension Pro, I recorded it as a wave file along with the music, and was surprised to hear/see it didn't fall out of time. May God let blessings flow upon you that you cannot contain...it is my prayer you are blessed in the hearing of this song, though, still, I am NOT perfect, and will never be. :)
Lyrics
Let The Blessings Flow He sets me back upon my feet when I am down, And I see His glory shining all around. I know that He is with me, each and every day My heart is filled with gladness, Just to hear Him say... 1st Chorus Let the floodgates of Heaven open wide; I will give you all that's good within my sight. For I love to bless my children; It's all there for the asking The greater you believe The more you will receive There's not a day goes by that I don't worship Him. He's the one who saved me, from my sin. And the same who's made me worthy, Of all He's given me, His life, His love, His blessings; Best of all, they're free! 2nd Chorus Let the Floodgates of Heaven open wide; He will give us all that's good within His sight. For He loves to bless His children, It's all there for the asking. The greater we believe, The more we will receive! repeat 1st chorus, then 2nd Chorus Let the Blessings Flow!

A nice mix, Midi is always a challenge, I worked with midi when it was first out in the 80's and a lot has changed.Thank the Lord for Vsti,s LOL. Not 6 keyboards, a dozen modules, and midi cords, splitters, daisy chaining problems, junction boxes and every keyboard played the wrong note , before GM GM, nice sequence and a sweet piano sound and nice soothing vocal and vox, love It, this is a station add, great

No doubt that you knows EXACTLY how to tweak the knobs on the mixer. This is BRILLIANT mixed/mastered. Nicely divided up. Really great work. :) Your vocal production is crystal clear with a VERY nice backingpart. That was all the boring technical stuf that some of us tends to get very attracted to :) Brilliant songwriting. It's a really good written song with a great chorus.... and you sing beautifully on this one. If this is your first attempt with midi, then I can't wait to hear more :) BestRegards Lasse

For a first time with Midi I think you did a great job of taking the digital edge off of the midi parts and bringing them to life. The vocals are clear and pronounced. Good Job. :)

Well my first reaction was WOW, how large and loud this sounds. Very warm and rich mix. The flute is pretty, I like that. Your voice is gorgeous on this one - I like the way you mixed the harmonies in the background, so as not to compete with that sparkling lead. The chorus sounds great, I like the pace and the lyrics are some of your best. The only thing I would have done differently was leave the strings out on the verses to give a greater contrast with the buildup on the choruses. But that's just me, your arranging here is certainly first class all the way. Very feminine touch, I like that. One of your best, keep it up! Sorry I haven't been around, we are currently in a short pause in a huge exercise right now, so that has my attention just about 24/7. Blessings, Johnny

Really nice Tammy! It's beautiful, lovely melody and Nice job on vocals If I may suggest, try making the background vocals a different tone or color than the lead vocals, that way when you drop them way down in the mix they still can stand out :) This is a lovely song Tammy:)...but theres nothing like being able to spead up and slow down to accent a lyric or feel, can you do that using midi? hehe Just food for thought:) Really nice job on this. I took a bread from "LTBWY" and am working on a Celtic lullaby...Need to practice the autoharp, it has been a while since I have used it... I will send you a rough, I will be redoing it when I get the autoharp down.. Have a Wonderful evening, :) Love and Hugs, Kurty
