I chose HiddenExplosion to be the name of my band because a hidden explosion cannot be seen, but when it is ignited it will blow up and affect anyone around it. I think it's a great name. Daunte L. Carter, was born into a family of innovative, hardworking, and talented people. Music performance was his main course and practice all the way from grade school throughout college, and has now become his trade. Story behind the song
Collaboratives invited: guitarist, bassist, saxophonist, and piano-keyboardist. The goal of this project is to show off the skills, or "skillz," its slang term, of each instrumentalist. Every collaborator must listen to the track first to find some space for them to arrange for himself or herself an instrumental solo part; i.e, a bass player would like to improvise a bass part on bar 4, and thus, this would be his solo which would then be followed by a funky rhythmic drum pattern. A saxophonist would consider staying out of the score until the keyboard solo finishes, and then begin a melodic motive'. Just remember that what you choose to leave out of a composition is just as important as what you decide to add to a composition.
