I chose HiddenExplosion to be the name of my band because a hidden explosion cannot be seen, but when it is ignited it will blow up and affect anyone around it. I think it's a great name. Daunte L. Carter, was born into a family of innovative, hardworking, and talented people. Music performance was his main course and practice all the way from grade school throughout college, and has now become his trade. Although poetry writing was his first natural talent, yet he's combined it with his knowledge of songwriting which made him a dynamic composer songwriter. For more information on this artist, below are additional links to the works he's done and of which he continues to do:

Band/artist history
I am a musician and songwriter, composer by trade, and performer by right. The piano keyboard is my instrument. I got started in the field of songwriting and music performance after undergoing formal study and training at colleges in Austin, Texas, particularly at Huston-Tillotson College, and Austin Community College. I have a background in music theory, harmony, music business studies, and music performance. I am now building my own network which now a small community of contacts on various websites, and a handfull of artists, musicians, and writers of poetry. My vision is to avoid the mainstream competition and create an atmosphere of musicians and artists who will form a partnership through an online network, and will promote each other while sharing their gifts and creativity. I invite and welcome anyone who think they might be interested. Here are some links below for you to check out.
Have you performed in front of an audience?
I have played at hotels, recitals, in small gatherings, in talent shows, and on other ocassions.
Your musical influences
I like the hip-hop and R&B mixture from the earlier 2000's. Young people knew how to cross-genre. That is why music and the craft of music are the only 2 factors that seem to be the enduring subjects that continue to surpass and outlast all other adversities in an industry in which the business of music is lucrative. I'm not saying that other styles are not as good, I'm just saying that hip-hop and R&B are my favorite genres.
What equipment do you use?
piano keyboard; sony/yamaha are the top namebrands that I use; I use a computer with Music Creator software to make and edit beats; I take the final product to the professional recording studio to master my work.
Anything else?
I was a poet prior to becoming a songwriter. I have a joint network to my Heart of Notes called Octopus_Network. Check out the following links to see the works I've done as fart as creative writing and literary works:

Female vocalists only for this project. I intend to re-arrange this score to suit the artist.
However, to give you an idea of what I want for this recording project is someone who knows what hip-hop and R&B is about and how to add the flavor to a song. This track starts off with a classical intro, but falls into a hip-hop arrangement, and the artist I want for it must not sound like a gospel singer, a classical neither, but must sound like a Mary J. Blige.
Thematic track - the fuel for the engine, and the band members is the engine. Basically this track is just an inspired idea for musicians.

There is a 1 minute and eight second time lapse at the end of the track. This was a mistake on my part during a project I was doing using my recording software. I apologize.
Collaboratives invited: guitarist, bassist, saxophonist, and piano-keyboardist. The goal of this project is to show off the skills, or "skillz," its slang term, of each instrumentalist. Every collaborator must listen to the track first to find some space for them to arrange for himself or herself an instrumental solo part; i.e, a bass player would like to improvise a bass part on bar 4, and thus, this would be his solo which would then be followed by a funky rhythmic drum pattern. A saxophonist would consider staying out of the score until the keyboard solo finishes, and then begin a melodic motive'. Just remember that what you choose to leave out of a composition is just as important as what you decide to add to a composition.
