I wrote and arranged this song and sang all vocals. I hand played all multi-instrument solos, as usual. It's relaxing for me to do so. Many, many tracks involved. Old style Jazz.

WELCOME TO THE SOUNDCLICK PAGE OF ALEXIS PATRICK ALSO LEXI, and LEKZEE PATRICK , FROM CORTLAND, OHIO...... THE SAME ARTIST AND PERSON. SHE IS A FEMALE SINGER, COMPOSER, SONGWRITER, AND MUSICIAN, BORN ON THE NORTH SIDE OF YOUNGSTOWN, OHIO, IN MAHONING COUNTY, IN THE U.S.A.. SHE STILL REFERS TO IT AS HER TOWN . SHE IS A MEMBER OF BOOT HILL BAIT MUSIC IN VIENNA, OHIO. She studied music at Theodore P. Patrick's School Of Music, even BEFORE she attended Lynn-Kirk Elementary School, Frank Ohl Jr. High School and Austintown Fitch High School. She and her brother Ted, and their father, had a band called SUPERNATURAL for years. She is of KYIV UKRAINIAN and Carpathian Romanian descent, with a significant amount of Slovak and Vienna German mixed in, and she gets along with most all people, as America is a melting cauldron of many nationalities. She is a believer in World peace and feels that war is unnecessary. She arranges her music and the instrumental and vocal arrangements, as she composes each composition. She produces and does sound work on her own recordings, EXCEPT For Collaborations. We all do that. Her Dad's father was a Violin and Cello maker from the UKRAINE and he went to come to the U.S.A. Lekzee and Ted 's Mother was a Classical Violin teacher. Their father was a Saxophone player in Big Bebop Band. Each parent had a band. That is how they met. And so, she has a musical family background, raised on Classical and Big Band Jazz. HER VOCALS AND HARMONIES ARE ALL NATURAL, AND HER MUSIC IS ALL DONE THE OLD FASHIONED WAY FOR THE MOST OF IT. SHE PLAYS PIANO, GUITAR, VIOLIN, DRUMS, and BASS GUITAR. SHE ALSO SINGS "IN CHARACTER VOCALS "... MOOD OF SONG. HER MUSIC IS BEAUTIFUL, VERY UNIQUE, AND SOMETIMES STRANGE. I FIND HER VOICE EUPHORIC, EERIE, AND COMPELLING, YET, WHEN WE SING ALONG WITH HER, THOSE EERIE LYRICS CERTAINLY ARE DIFFERENT. SHE IS WILLING TO LEASE OUT SONGS TO BIG NAME ARTISTS TO RECORD. SHE IS AFFILIATED WITH ASCAP. SHE ALSO SEEKS A CONTRACT WITH A MAJOR RECORDING COMPANY. ALL OF HER SONGS ARE COPYRIGHTED, AND THEY ARE PUBLISHED WITH AFFILIATES APACHE WELLS BANK MUSIC, INC..

Lyrics
WITCH IN THE WOODS All Lyrics, Arrangement, and Music written by LEKZEE PATRICK in 2008 He walked out the other day, He got zapped out, right away. The town all wondered where he had gone. He never showed up for his Liverpool gig, And he never came back, to see her in a wig. Scampering through the woods like a white tail fawn. BRIDGE: People said, the Witch had got him. He had it comin' diddomdottamwottam, Caught up to him, the Witch had sought him. Witch In the Woods, finally got him. Two down, two to go, He won't have a limee show. I'm still standing, whatya know, Whatya, Whatya, What -a-you know. Adlib Scatting........ The old folks say she put his eyes in a jar. Then stuck the jar in the back of her car. We all know her other car is a broom. He was looking to find a fool. Diplodocus better go back to school. (Diplodocus: A Vegetarian Dinosaur.) He got fired from the shipping room. BRIDGE: The people said, the Witch had got him. He had it comin' diddomdottamwottam, Caught up to him, the Witch had sought him. Witch In the Woods, finally got him. Two down, and two to go, He won't have valimeeshow. I'm still standing whatya know, Whatya,Whatya,Whatya know.

A real retro track aka 30s/40s. Like being in a smokey bar during that period listening to this. Heard a lot of stuff like this growing up as my Dad was a huge Dance Band/ Jazz lover. Excellent track...superb in fact!

Love your voice of course as always. Even multi-tracked, and at one point the stereo emphasises in my right ear. Every word crystal clear to me. Attractive real Dixieland feel.
Incredibly talented performance all the way! Not many can do this oldtime music so convincingly nowadays! Peo

Oh Boy Lekzee, this such a lot of fun. The 'Old style Jazz', is so authentic sounding. You do this kind of thing so very very well. . . I've probably said this before, but the 'musical detail', with the instrumentation is second to none. Goodness knows how long you must have worked on this. Perfection. The vocals (delivered in your unique way) are amazing; plus, I like lyrics that tell a story. Excellent.

Absolutely delightful Lekzee! You capture that old time jazz sound and feel so incredibly well with your vocals and the multiple instrument tones, which impart great vintage color and texture to the song. Great story line and just an all around fun tune. Gonna add this one to a station before i forget! Great job Countess!
This is old style jazz at its best - VERY BEST!!!!! The lyrics are brilliant...the beat is delightful...the instrumentation is superb...and styling of the Lekzee vocal is supreme. Magnificent Countess Lekzee you are truly a song genius...proof of this is found in so many different genres/subgenres on SoundClick where your songs are charted high on the ratings. And as a SC "Top Ten", your WITCH IN THE WOODS is another stellar example.
What a fine treat this is just awesome Lekzee ;)
