Welcome! I am a singer/songwriter of different styles of Christian and Country Music....Enjoy the message I bring, and may your heart be ministered to.
Hello! I'm very glad you stopped in to listen and visit. :)
The message I carry is simply this...Jesus loves you and I do too.
Hope you enjoy what you hear, and get a blessing from the music, as God does not give His people gifts to just set them upon the shelf, and never be used.
I'm only as good as the Lord helps me to be, and I'm thankful for the blessings He has bestowed upon me.
I'm NOT perfect, never claimed to be; but on the other hand, I have a message to minister in song, and I do that to the best of my ability.
I fully realize there are many songs I demo here that don't fit my style/voice, but I can't run out and get a singer that fits everytime I write a song. :)
What I write or cover comes from the heart. I've endured many hard trials in my life, and each one has, in one way or the other made its way into a song that others can relate to.
All of my songs except for noted exceptions are free downloads. I'm not a professional by any means, nor am I interested in becoming one; and so the music is given away just as freely as the message was given to me.

Hugsssssss Tammy, I know it has been far too long between my visits, I am so easily distracted whe i am not busy. While I can agree with Johnny's assessment inpart, I know nothing of the technical side so I rate on overall.... (Anton H, the artist also known as M.U.D. Most UNtechnical Dude). I think there is a valid point for a key change to keep the interest but it copes well without because it has huge singalong/audience participation appeal. Tammy, your own comment that some traditional gospel people think the music should follow a pattern is discounted by the fact that I think this song delivers it's message with every bit as much impact as any traditional style. I also applaud JP for his in depth analysis because he appreciates and cares. Nice song/good music would not do this justice. Keep doing what you do in your own style sweet, it is great stuff. Many thanks also for your kind words and thoughts on my latest collab with Amy Caldwell. Amy did a great job and I am really chuffe

Great job, Tammy/Kurt, you nailed a joyful "camp meeting" feel with this track.
1. Composition: This is a very memorable melody and the hooks are happening right away. The simplicity and repetition are appealing and the message is uplifting. However, the song really needs a bridge/middle 8. There is about 2:30 worth of song here (as is) and 4:48 is just too long without significant build ups/build downs in the arrangement. This is a potentially excellent composition and is a rousing sing along. However, without the change up offered by a thoughtfully composed middle 8 section, you've said all you are going to say musically and lyrically in the first 1:45.
2. Arrangement: I like the horns but they are masked by the vocal harmonies which are in an almost identical frequency. Move the horns to the right end of the keyboard for a higher brass sound that will separate better from the vocals. There's an awful lot of midrange frequencies competing for the listener's attention

A fabulous rendition of this new classic. Your vocals shine. Powerful added phrases, the very nice bass vocal by Michael balances the mix beautifully. So uplifting, positive, a great job on a special piece, really LOVE this! Great Work!
Hi Tammy, Nicely done, I love the melody of this song. A very strong message of what Jesus means to us. Love your vocals in this track. I have heard a two other versions of this Kurty classic :), it very interesting to hear what each person brings to a song. I also heard his first version of the song and what a difference between the two. Thank you so much for your kind words on my latest songs, I have had so much fun with music since starting to do collaborations. Jude and Kurty have been so nice to work with and because of their encouragement, I have ventured out of my comfort zone and tried new things. I never imagined how much fun it would be and how much that I would learn about music. And there is still so much that I have to learn. The song with Miguel (Caruso) was a challenge, Miguel based his track on a track by Neal Schon and I had to work out what was belng played. So happy that it all worked out. I begin college next week, I am studying to be a teacher of you
