Lyrics
Blue Hurricane There’s a storm in the gulf five hundred miles from here Long distance warning beyond the new frontier Water temp is rising I can feel her steps so near The man on the TV says You better stay clear Hot days in the sand Cool nights beneath the trees Her hair is hanging down There’s a warning in the breeze She’s all around me now I can smell her standing near Warning flags are flying You better stay clear A blue hurricane is forming And she says she has to go I see which way the wind is warning And the cruise ships have all had to go Cloud tops are moving overhead That I can see They’ve evacuated Tampa, Pensicola and Gulf Breeze It looks like she’s a bad one And she’ll bring you to your knees Can’t face the wind and rain No matter how I plead We’ve had some sunny weather I think storms are made of rum Easy time and easy lovers Used to keep me on the run But now in tidal surges That are pounding like big drums Play on Play on
