English lyricist working with dozens of composers and artists
I am a lyricist working with many composers and artists around the world and most frequently with 2 guys, Juri Rosenfeld and Mark Ellis who, although their styles are entirely different, are both extremely talented as musicians and composers, as well as producers. Along with these two, with whom I have written more than 50 songs....I have been most fortunate to collaborate with so many others that the list is almost endless but two very talented ladies spring to mind: Dawn Diamond and Amy Caldwell, who have not only both composed for my words but have also both are possessed of beautiful voices and have sung many, many times on songs I have written.
There is no ONE genre I write for, since a lyricist has to be able to write for ANY category and I do, but one thing I try to be always, is honest in my work because when there is integrity, there is a way to relate to the song and if occasionally I meander into the poetic, it is because I am and always have been, since the age of 13 years, a poet...but that doesn't mean everything I write is flowery or full of metaphors...as I say, I strive always to be real and of course, most importantly, to be as unique as possible.

Hi Dawn,
It's songs like this that save me from falling over the edge on my "not so good" days like today. You reached into the very depths of your soul to produce this one, and Dawn Diamond must have joined you on the journey, as she knows exactly where you're coming from in her interpretation.
This song is what songwriting is all about. You've outdone yourselves, yet again!!
Loadsa love,
Ron

Hi sweetness
Just wanted to thank you for sending me this lovely song. It was my pleasure once again to work with ya. Sorry it took so long, but sometimes, time helps me out greatly cause I lead such a busy life LOL I hope it was worth the wait.
You say this song is very special to you, well it is now very very special to me too!! The words are soooooooooo about me too LOL
The tune is lovely but I know it's not the best arrangement, but then I say that about all my arrangements. I can hear an orchestra playing this one. Heck would'nt it be nice to perform it live with the Philharmonic at the Royal Albert?? Now that would be a dream come true, I'd love to sing there and have you in the audience, front row!!! no harm in dreaming :o)
Anyhoo thanks again honey, just for being the lovable understanding, patient soul that you are!!
Loves ya

Hugglies babe, okay!!! I give up. If you are going to write lyrics like this, what hope do I have of catching you. :)) This is truly a great song, one that carries and conveys a message to individuals and populations alike. Yet it does not come across as in any way sermon-like. Dawn D, well you know I am always surprised with Dawns range and versatility and she combines that with some very sweet acoustic guitar work. If this doesn't rate well on charts here, I will be very surprised. Lovely work my sweet friend, lubsya.
Hi Dawn, As I was listening this song popped up and I was so impressed. One of your best lyrics I agree and one of Dawns best vocals as well. She really nailed this one. I hope all is well with two Dawns and one day.
