Story behind the song
This is a dynamic song for Palm Sunday, with bouncy chorus, stately verse with simple lyrics on this inspiring event of Jesus' life and ministry. Therefore, it should be ideal for family worship or re-enacting the events of Palm Sunday in a church service. It came about because I was privileged to be asked to do a song for Palm Sunday by one of the leaders of my new home church, North Teignmouth Community Church. I am grateful for this opportunity because I learned a lot when researching the subject which is hopefully conveyed in the text below.
