Welcome! I am a singer/songwriter of different styles of Christian and Country Music....Enjoy the message I bring, and may your heart be ministered to.
Hello! I'm very glad you stopped in to listen and visit. :) The message I carry is simply this...Jesus loves you and I do too. Hope you enjoy what you hear, and get a blessing from the music, as God does not give His people gifts to just set them upon the shelf, and never be used. I'm only as good as the Lord helps me to be, and I'm thankful for the blessings He has bestowed upon me. I'm NOT perfect, never claimed to be; but on the other hand, I have a message to minister in song, and I do that to the best of my ability. I fully realize there are many songs I demo here that don't fit my style/voice, but I can't run out and get a singer that fits everytime I write a song. :) What I write or cover comes from the heart. I've endured many hard trials in my life, and each one has, in one way or the other made its way into a song that others can relate to. All of my songs except for noted exceptions are free downloads. I'm not a professional by any means, nor am I interested in becoming one; and so the music is given away just as freely as the message was given to me. Story behind the song
I originally wrote this song back in 1999, and had no melody for it...so I sent it to the Master of Melodies, Kurt Lewis Neufer...to see what he could come up with. :) Well, he came up with a lovely melody for it, and said something about harmonies..then didn't say anything else..and I totally forgot about it, LOL..as I'd been busy with some other things. :) He then went one step farther; he got Dawny Diamond to sing with him on this song. Dawn did the production on it, and he surprised me with the finished song......I was touched and very pleased with what they did. I took the liberty of mastering Dawn's work, and I hope you enjoy listening...even though it's after Christmas, it's better late than not at all. May you be blessed as His birth WAS the greatest gift of all. :)
Lyrics
On the road toward Bethelem, Following a star, Three Wise Men on a journey; Travelling from afar. Asking all they saw, "Where's the King that has been born. We have come to worship Him, In the east we've seen His star. There were shepherds in the field, Keeping watch over their sheep. When the archangel appeared, And God's glory shone complete. All of them were startled, Filled with so much fright. But the archangel said "Fear not, "Born is the Child of Light" (Chorus) His Name is Jesus, Salvation He brings. Brings love and light to the nations. Come ye and worship the King. All that saw were amazed. Bowing down to worship; Many gifts were given. All to honor Him. Born in a stable, But the greatest gift of all; Was the joy of His birth, For He came to save us all.

Tammy I really love this song. No wonder it is so beautiful, 'cause it's a collaboration of three great talent, Kurt, Dawn and you. I love its flow and the combination of voices between Kurt and Dawn to your well-written lyrics. This song can be a radio hit! Don't know how I missed this one last year, but I am glad that I found it this year. I played it 3 times, and will be back to play it again. Great job! I will be adding some new songs in the new year God's willing. Have a merry Christmas!

Nice in its' simplicity. The proof that good song needn't be very complicated to catch the listener's ear. Deep impressive voice of Kurty supported by Dawns' angelics.Reminds me of some great European singers (from France) like Aznavur,Dassen etc. Thumbs up!
