Welcome! I am a singer/songwriter of different styles of Christian and Country Music....Enjoy the message I bring, and may your heart be ministered to.
Hello! I'm very glad you stopped in to listen and visit. :) The message I carry is simply this...Jesus loves you and I do too. Hope you enjoy what you hear, and get a blessing from the music, as God does not give His people gifts to just set them upon the shelf, and never be used. I'm only as good as the Lord helps me to be, and I'm thankful for the blessings He has bestowed upon me. I'm NOT perfect, never claimed to be; but on the other hand, I have a message to minister in song, and I do that to the best of my ability. I fully realize there are many songs I demo here that don't fit my style/voice, but I can't run out and get a singer that fits everytime I write a song. :) What I write or cover comes from the heart. I've endured many hard trials in my life, and each one has, in one way or the other made its way into a song that others can relate to. All of my songs except for noted exceptions are free downloads. I'm not a professional by any means, nor am I interested in becoming one; and so the music is given away just as freely as the message was given to me. Story behind the song
Bob Muscovitz was gracious enough to send me a CD of his songs some months back, and this one really caught my ears, and it was so sweet, it made me cry. :) As time went on, I realized I could do something with it, and so I asked him for permission to build a track for the song...and to help him put together a full production track. This song turned into a duet, because, well, it is. :) Two people who have been married many years, are looking back over the years, and forward into the future...and their love is reflected so strongly in this piece. Life is so short, appreciate and keep what you have, hang in there, and most of all, never forget to tell that special spouse you love them. :) My sincere thanks to Bob for allowing me to take part in bringing this song together and making is something special.
Lyrics
A FAMILY By Robert A. Muscovitz August 2007 I love the person that you are To me you’ll always be a star You never have to look too far For I am always there I love the way you think inside And sharing all the things you hide You know that I am at your side Because I always care Back when we got married We were young and incomplete Houses, cars and precious things Like children at our feet So much of me depends on you And all the things you do for me How life’s meant to be – A Family I love the beauty in your heart To me you are that special spark You know I always do my part For I am always there I love the way you think of me With great respect and dignity Together we will always be Because we always share Back when we got married We were young and incomplete Houses, cars and precious things Like children at our feet So much of me depends on you And all the things you do for me How life’s meant to be – A Family Life is so beautiful Because of what we did Back when we had nothing – Now there’s houses, cars, and kids… And everyday we both agree It’s me for you and you for me How life’s meant to be – A Family We love the children young and old We yearn to touch and long to hold As if our love has been foretold We are always there… The love we have is more than this Well beyond the joy and bliss When they leave I know we’ll miss But we will always care…. Back when we got married We were young and incomplete Houses, cars and precious things Like children at our feet So much of me depends on you And all the things you do for me How life’s meant to be – A Family And everyday we both agree It’s me for you and you for me How life’s meant to be – A Family

Very special, lyrics give homage to the most important person in our lives, a relationship we can sometimes take for granted. Has us appreciate our blessings at hand. Bob's vocals come through so warm and familiar, and yours so sweet and sincere. So much more than just a song. Great arrangement, production, everything!

Tammy and Bob: You made this duet very special with your performances and emotion. I like the violin arpeggio but its a bit buried in the mix. The flute obligato sounds sweet. Both your vocals come across with sincerity - I would have added a bit of echo/reverb so that the vocals would hit with a bit more presence. Bob, you are such a gifted songwriter - these lyrics are so warm and accessible, and even emotional. Not all families turn out like the family in your song. Some are pain-filled and a source of relentless pain. Great to hear such a positive song! Well done, Johnny
