Hard rock with a unique focus on bass guitar, as well as vocal melodies and harmonies.
After performing and collaborating with various bands across the United States, B.C. now travels down the solo path, writing, recording, and performing his own compositions. A bass guitar player by trade, B.C. is always exploring new and interesting ways of expressing himself on this instrument, at times tastefully incorporating as many as four different bass parts simultaneously playing in one song. While his music possesses a heavy edge, B.C. always retains a keen focus on vocal melodies and harmonies. B.C. records all of his compositions in his relaxing home studio in Illinois.

Lyrics
I. Maze I should have known it would come to this Once again I’m right back where I started Just like a million times before You’d think by now I would learn to accept this Stuck in a maze that never ends I dared to find a final way out But I got lost along the way... II. Awakening? I rise up to the surface And catch a glimpse of first light It melts my skin and burns my eyes I’m suffering and burning in paradise Something tells me that beyond chaos There lies of place of only peace Yet despite this shrewd sensation There’s only fear inside of me The horizon is always beckoning But why journey to uncertainty? So I keep it out of sight and out of mind And accept bleak familiarity I’ve spent so long in dark confinement Serenity is a shock to the system Afraid... I wilt back into the ground And let the dirt consume me III. Retreat! I am not lonely But I am alone Feigning sincerity Will I ever be free? I don’t care I retreat There’s nothing left inside Farewell but not goodbye... Music and Lyrics: Brian Calhoun
