Story behind the song

This was originally a test project to compare the sounds of three different synthesizers for their string patches: the Yamaha MO8, Kurzweil PC2R and Kontakt 2 sampler. 

Since then, I have used it as a test platform for subsequent library acquisitions such as Miroslav Philharmonik, and most recently adding bass drum and pipe organ from the Kontakt 4 factory library. 

I have also substituted the original Yamaha piano with The Old Lady, a 1923 Steinway from SampleTekk. A stripped-down version of this library had been part of the Kontakt 2 factory content but I had deemed it unusable back then. The full library, however, features more velocity layers and is very usable.
