I am an independent writer/performer/producer making summery sounds with lots of harmony, guitars, and emotion.
Brian Wilson said of his epic work Pet Sounds, "I wanted to make the listener feel loved." Those words have always remained with me and I hope to share loving, healing sounds with the listener as well.

Johnny;
Congrats on getting an award for your vocals and harmonies. All your music is rock steady with strong harmonies and great lead vocals. And Listening to this production of Malibu it's no surprise that you were picked for this well deserved award. You're harmonies are again spot on. I really love the whole song and the total Beach Boy sound. It's great to hear an artist like you bring back that very classic clean sound that is a great part of music history.
I think a lot of people are starting to rediscover that sound and it's great that you're out front of that trend and giving us the new fresh songs with that powerful and inviting sound that ruled the sound waves for so long in the 60s. Love that sound and thanks for keeping it alive and fresh. Best wishes.

Always liked this one as it evokes the vision of DA BEACH!! :D
Howdy Johnny! :) Hope all goes well with you and your poor leetle feet! :)
I'm doing well...busy as all get out, as usual...I changed jobs..coming off the road after having run it for the past 5 years, but I know the Lord knows what He is doing, as He led me into this. :)
And I'll have more time for other things. :)
Have a good one, my friend..you and your family are in my prayers. :)
Hugs to you and Amy,
Tammy :)

Johnny,well you asked for a more serious criteque.
I listened to this song three times and the only thing that I hear is at the break where you sing What would Brian Wilson do.I'm not sure what you would put there and I know its kinda a big part of the song but something there seems not to fit.I have to write in laymans terms cause I dont know too much musical terminology.Anyway The production is really really good.the mix is very tight.
I hope this helps.this is a top notch song bub.

Hi Johnny,
Love this one, My favorite SoundClick song! - makes you get up and dance. Only 2 & 13 is to low! Brian Wilson would say he is going back it bed. Up in Canada we do not have so much surfing and I still can not write that beach song. Maybe skating songs are more natural for me.
In the Holiday Cover Contest my Skating On Rideau Ice got selected to go into the 2nd round. I think it is in a little bit of an unfair race since Skating On Rideau Ice is an original song in a Cover contest and it is recorded more like a Demo.
Take care, Trick T.
