I am a songwriter. Whenever I am strongly moved I get a song. They come lyric and melody, a verse or chorus with imagined instrumentation I can never quite reproduce. Story behind the song

I actually wrote the first half of the song several years ago after I saw an interview of Kim Basinger on TV. She always interested me because she was so beautiful yet bashful. When she described herself as having been "painfully shy" it struck a deep chord within me. This song is the result of that resonance.
