Acoustic singer-songwriter
Been around the amateur music scene for 30+ years as both a solo/duo guitarist gigging in pubs, bars, restaurants, as a stage musical director and as a member of various cover bands. Singer/songwriter with back catalogue of 40-50 (mostly unpublished!) songs. Solid writing partnership with my old pal Tony who sadly died in the summer of 2007.

Story behind the song
Inspired by a friend's obsession with a woman he worked with who, it has to be said, led him on a bit
Lyrics
Oh Ramona... You're a hundred thousand things Ramona, you've got me waiting in the wings, Ramona, I'm falling over .. you again Oh Ramona... Where's that 'Lisa' smile that used to bowl me over By God you had some style My Ramona, I'm falling over .. you again (CHORUS) And what can I say When you treat me this way I've got to have light Guiding my way Ooh I'm lost in the dark Losing all that I planned Oh I've got to know now Just where I stand... Oh Ramona... With every day that passes we get older We've got to take our chances, be bolder Oh roll me over and do it again... Oh Ramona... Can't you trickle down the lights and let me closer There's been a lot of lonely nights without Ramona, I'm falling over you again. CHORUS Oh Ramona... You're one hundred thousand things Ramona, you've got me waiting in the wings, Ramona, I'm falling over .. you again
