I am an independent writer/performer/producer making summery sounds with lots of harmony, guitars, and emotion.
Brian Wilson said of his epic work Pet Sounds, "I wanted to make the listener feel loved." Those words have always remained with me and I hope to share loving, healing sounds with the listener as well.

Story behind the song
I have always loved David's Psalms and this one is soooo beautiful. This recording was intended to minister to my friend David [NewWine] a fellow SoundClick artist.
Lyrics
Words by David, King of Israel music by Johnny Proctor My heart is not haughty My eyes are not lofty Neither have I concerned myself with things too high for me Surely I have behaved myself My soul is within me like a weaning child Like a baby at his mother's breast My soul is within me at rest Oh, Israel! Hope in the Lord both now and evermore.

It's my understanding that the majority of Psalms were written by King David...VERY nice job of putting this one to music, Johnny. :) One word....BEAUTIFUL! Your friend, Tammy :)
