I purchased a book from the Thrift Store in my community. In the book I saw a poem that had been written on a piece of paper that was inside of the book. I looked at the author of the poem and recognized her name. She was an elderly woman that used to attend the same church that I had attended. I had no idea she was a poet. I wanted to surprise her by writing a song using her poem. When I told her about it, she was very happy and surprised all at the same time. She still has not heard the song. I keep telling her that I will have to get her a copy of the song.
