Story behind the song
Finished January 15, 2002, just a week after IBMHA, I love this one and it is my best to date! Its not about 9-11. I started off with the finger picked Strat in the right and then added verse vocals. After that, I worked hard to find the right way to sing the chorus. I like the way it came out. I added the crunchy electric on the right as an after thought... A good one a that! It really made a difference. Then of course, I did the leads and final mixes. Is it Pink Floyd meets Metallica??? This song was started after being inspired by the sound and production of Crackers song, Kerosene Hat. It ended up somewhere else, but Ill take it! And no, this was not about 9-11, although, there is probably some indirect influence...
