This is a song with a slight Gospel feel to it. Fairly hooky chorus to it

Lyrically and harmonially strong with diverse styles of song.
I write and record all my songs on an 8 track set up. I've got a small room now instead of using the kitchen although I do have to share the space with my daughter as the computers in the room too. I normally write around 4 am. I get woken up with some song banging in my head. It won't shut up till I write it all down. I write in various style from Rock through to Country. My main interest is to get a publishing deal. It would be great to get paid for doing something I love. I'm a member of the ISA - that's where I read about Soundclick, by the way. The ISA are great I'd recommend them to anyone. They're so helpful even if you're asking some really dumb question. I've dabbled in poetry and music for a large part of my life. I like to listen to all kinds of music. I would hate to be asked what my favourite song or artist is. Some days it's Mozart, some days Black Sabbath - the Ozzy version, mind -then another day maybe Eva cassidy.

Story behind the song
It's a song about letting people get on and lead their own lives. Whatever those lives may be. And not critisising them for just being who they are.
Lyrics
Nobody’s Angel By Jo Keers I’ve stretched myself out on the rack Been out to lunch and not come back I’ve turned my fiction into fact Then turned it back just for the crack. Walked down the line time after time Through tears I’ve screamed I’m feeling fine Hey, having hope isn’t a crime I’m sure some day I’ll be divine. Chorus Though I’m nobody’s angel You can see from the look on my face That I’m nobody’s angel I’ve done things that would make your blood race I’m nobody’s angel But I’ve never been bought or been sold I’m nobody’s angel Or so I’m told. Not front page news sing my own blues I’ve got no stash to pay my dues My best friend says I’m bound to lose But I walk which way that I choose. Don’t pay the rent get overspent Even my wooden nickel’s bent I’ll pick a pitch on the pavement And give up living just for lent. Repeat chorus, then:- You can talk at me I don’t bear a grudge But before you do are you fit to judge? Repeat. Repeat chorus. Copyright J.K. & I.S.A 2006
