Mix of ambience and ithyphallic death metal. see lyrics for more info. If you get bored of the intro - go to around 2:40 where it starts to pick up. Mikill also performs an epic solo around 4:34.
metal death black thrash
(Pretty ambitious in an Ayreon sort of way in terms of feeling - I probably succeeded in some areas but mostly screwed up in others - Hey but at least it doesn't have anything to do with a hippie!(That was an Ayreon joke))
Masters of the Reverie
Part 1 - The Void
(Here I am trying to give the feeling of being lost in, as the title suggests, a void, where everything seems dreamlike.)
Part 2 - We Are the Plague
Chorus:
We are the ones
Who have traveled the void
You are the ones
That waste away time
We are the plague
That has been too long prevented
You are the ones
On which our anger is vented
Of all the ages
To make us better
They have failed
War still wages
This race will never quit
At making themselves better
But they will always fail
And my ship once again sets sail
I have seen
The edge of time
Where matter is nothing
And nothing matters because when I fall I only rise again
We will bring
Devastation to you
We are the warriors
That your prophecy fears
Chorus
(Basically about warriors from someplace over the seas protecting the human race by killing most of it off)
Part 3 - Aftermath
(Supposed to be an erie reflection of what the warriors have done to innocent lives)
Part 4 - A New Age Dawns in Glory
(The knowledge of the warriors has been handed down to the remaining people and they can live happily ever after - the song, "A New Age Dawns" is basically reasons for why the warriors do what they do)
(To be honest I don't really know who the "Warriors" are so they are basically a metaphor for my thoughts - but then again it would be cool to write some epic story about some awsome super beings that go around defacing religion and getting into huge battles and shit like that ;)
