The Clay County Ramblers are two members from the now defunct Rodeo Queen. Skid Severson and Bill Rasmussen are the core group with a rotating cast of friends who have the time to lay down a track or two. Previous and hopefully future players include Mark Perrodin/Bass (Sidewinders, The Sand Rubies), Cathy Rivers/backing vocals (Wonder Twins, Rodeo Queen, Little Black Cloud), and Julia Groves/drums(Topless Opry, Solid Donkey, Clovenhoof).

I came up with a riff I wanted to record so Bill and I laid down some tracks. Upon what I thought was playback Bill hands the mic to me and says" start singin' ". So I made up some lines on the fly. Skid Severson - guitar and vocals Bill Rasmussen - lead guitar
