Artist picture
Hard rock with a unique focus on bass guitar, as well as vocal melodies and harmonies.
After performing and collaborating with various bands across the United States, B.C. now travels down the solo path, writing, recording, and performing his own compositions. A bass guitar player by trade, B.C. is always exploring new and interesting ways of expressing himself on this instrument, at times tastefully incorporating as many as four different bass parts simultaneously playing in one song. While his music possesses a heavy edge, B.C. always retains a keen focus on vocal melodies and harmonies. B.C. records all of his compositions in his relaxing home studio in Illinois.

Lyrics
A certain degree of chaos In this cosmic chain of events Yet all occurrences are related Nothing spared from consequence The past has come and gone No reason for regret Looking back I've learned to trust The voices inside my head They've haunted me Caused me grief But when I surrender myself To their existence These voices set me free Two sides to every voice Two tenets I can live by Every moment banal or beautiful It is up to me to decide Each voice a revelation Darkness forever leading to light Though they have brought me torment The voices always prove to be right They've haunted me Caused me grief But when I surrender myself To their existence These voices set me free Music and Lyrics: Brian Calhoun ©2005
