Kinda a folk sound, very different sound that I tried to get when setting out to write this song. As for what it is about, you tell me. I want to know what it makes people think of. (And this isn't finished, I have another part not recorded yet)
acoustic short
Artist picture
One guy, with an acoustic guitar. Sometimes there are vocals. Mostly just little tunes.
I've been playing guitar for 5 or more years now, and I've been writing the odd tune here and there for the last 3 years. (mostly for girlfriends) But I just got a lot of free time on my hands and thought it would be a good time to write some more songs. I'm not a preformer, I just write for fun.

Story behind the song
I won't tell you how I came up with the title, and as for the story behind it, well I won't say that either. I want to know what you think it means, what you've taken from it.
Lyrics
Walking through the woods on a sunny afternoon walking with my muddy boots with my brave platoon. Looking for those winds that would take your breath away Looking for those foggy muts that stole my heart today. Walking through the woods on a gloomy afternoon walking with my muddy boots with my brave platoon. Looking for those nights that would take your breath away looking for those foggy muts that slote my heart today. (the rest hasn't been recorded yet) open up into my life, my blanket keeps me warm I've lost my brave platoon to this sultry storm. So if you see those Foggy Muts, with my bleeding heart Tell them to keep the thing , by now I've fell apart Sitting in these woods on a tired afternoon crying for my bloody heart, and my brave platoon.
