I've been playing guitar for 5 or more years now, and I've been writing the odd tune here and there for the last 3 years. (mostly for girlfriends) But I just got a lot of free time on my hands and thought it would be a good time to write some more songs. I'm not a preformer, I just write for fun.Have you performed in front of an audience?I did play live a few times. Once at my school. we were a Metallica Cover Band called Militia. And we played Enter the Sandman. I played Bass. And we played at a "Lab-Stock" and we played a lot of stuff from Metallica's first three albums. I also filled in as a bass player that same show in an In FLames cover band named On Fire.
Your musical influences
I love Metallica, but nothing I write sounds like them at all. Dave Matthews Band, The Tragically Hip, CCR, Led Zeppelin, Pink Floyd, The Black Crows, BNL, Pearl Jam, Mana, ZZ Top, Moist, and Most important and most lately the most influencal, David Bowie.What equipment do you use?
I have a Beaver Creek acoustic guitar.
