UPDATE: 4/23/2007 As is often the case with any great artist, Mike Jak Balla needed time to rest. He has risen. It is good. Exciting news! The songs for the new CD are pretty much done. The Balla will re-record and tweak them slightly, send them to our production company to be mixed and re-mastered, and we will be pressed and set for release as scheduled on June 6, 2006. In other news... I have gotten fat. I don't know when it happened exactly, but The Mike has become somewhat of a lard ass over the last few months. I don't really see myself doing a whole lot about that...time will tell. More news! I am recruiting studio musicians who are interested in being a part of the June release. I am especially looking for pedal steel, mandolin, background vocalists, and drums. If you come here, you are required to sign the message board. I'm not kidding.
