Story behind the song
Song about a kid's attempt at recreating the sound of a mad orchestra in his head having the limited ability to play only one power chord. Listen to this track with eyes closed and experience the blissful sonic mayhem. Enjoy! BIg "E" (A brief Guide to embryo's Live Performance Madness!) Part 1 Randolf will start with a synth arpegiator in Low "A" and establish the tempo in 4 Bars, Fuz and Yong will start Strumming open power E chord (without the 3rd) at 4th Bar onwards and remain in that chord shape throughout Wendy will Start at 8th bar with a single "A" and sustain every 2 bars with Standard Bass with Overdrive and continue for 8 bars Wendy will start Fade in a "A" and loop it with DL4 to create a low "A" Drone Wendy will accompany Randolf with a Synth Pulse tone playing the "A" and erase previous drone with a new loop comprising the pulse and let DL4 playback. Randolf will Signal Aleem who will start anytime with a 1 Bar buildup roll and the launch into a big heavy and steady rhythm Wendy is now having the DL4 playing the pulse loop which frees her to add the occasional Cutoff Freq Sweep effects with another patch Randolf has also captured his synth pulse on the DL4 which frees him to play Whammy Slide Ebow Wendy at this point will stop playing the bass but keep the DL4 Pulse Loop Running and start recording with her Hand Phone and signal Ran when she's ready Part 2 Randolf will signal Aleem who will play a 1 Bar Roll, Big Crash and play only the Hi Hat... Wendy will fade off her DL4 by turning down the Playback Vol knob Fuzz has stopped playing and Randolf is playing with Feedback. Wendy walks across stage to Fuzz and feeds HandPhone Audio to Fuzz Gtr and Fuzz and Yong Begin making noise. Randolf Stops playing at this point, Aleem also stops playing. Wendy walks to Randolf's Mike and places Hand Phone on his Mike or Guitar (option of Randolf looping the Hand Phone with DL4 also) Wendy walks back to her Bass and prepares. Only Fuzz and Randolf are playing with loop noises. Aleem is not playing Part3 Randolf stops playing and starts playing a Synth Pulse. Fuzz stops noise and upon Randolf's signal will prompt Yong to downstroke strum "E" Chord in tempo. Randolf will stop playing and only Fuzz and Yong are playing the chord strumming. Wendy starts a Bass Synth Pulse and maintain steady rhythm. She can also Loop the pulse to free her to do the Cutoff Freq later towards end Randolf starts with Synth Pulse and signals Aleem who's will start playing Hi Hats. Randolf will Signal Aleem and he will play a 1 Bar Roll and whole band comes in together with a big crash and keep pulsing Big E Pulse continues with improv from Randolf. Wendy also introduces Cutoff Freq and Improv Fuzz and Yong are free to improv on their noise barrage making coner! We will keep going with much intensity until either all strings snap or sound system staff threaten us....just keep going! Randolf will signal Aleem who will bring intensity and density up.... play a 1 bar roll and song ends with a Big E Crash and trailing noise and Feedback..... The End
