A Stitch In Time was formed by accident about 2 years ago when we were put on stage together by chance at a gathering at the Montgomery County Fair Grounds. We were hired at that event to play at a Civil War Battle Reenactment in Hot Springs. That gig led to another, and another, and finally to where we are now. The members of the group are: Marianne Siller - vocals, guitar, mandolin, harmonica, and jaw harp--Phyllis Ryle -vocals, fiddle, guitar, and spoons--and, Bob Nation - fiddle. Our group has two basic purposes. First, we just want to have fun playing music. Second, we want to promote old time accoustic music.
